My First Time Travel to United Kingdom

BEFORE I BEGIN, LITTLE ABOUT ME

Hi, I am a Newbie In Foreign Land, recently moved to Birmingham, United Kingdom all the way from India. By profession i am a Software Engineer working for MNC & so is the reason of movement. The main intention of writing this blog(many more to come in future) is to share my experience being a NEWBIE IN FOREIGN LAND. So, stay tuned with me for many more updates, where i will share my whole experience from every small detail to jumbo size details.

DIFFERENT FEELINGS I HAD BEFORE TRAVELLING TO UK - EXCITEMENT, FEAR, ANXIETY, HAPPIENT BEING, EMOTIONAL & LITTLE CONFUSED.

Traveling to a foreign country for the first time can be an exciting and intimidating experience. It's natural to feel a mix of excitement, curiosity, and even a little bit of nervousness as you prepare for your trip. Whether you're going for business, pleasure, or a combination of both, there are a few things you can do to make your first time traveling abroad a little bit easier.

First, it's important to do your research. This means looking into the culture, customs, and norms of the country you'll be visiting. This will help you understand what to expect and how to behave appropriately. You should also research the weather, what to pack, and any health or safety concerns.

Next, make sure you have all the necessary documents in order. This includes a valid passport, visa (if required), and any other documentation you might need. You should also make copies of these documents in case the originals get lost or stolen.

Once you arrive at your destination, it's a good idea to familiarize yourself with the local currency, language, and transportation options. You might want to consider purchasing a local SIM card for your phone so you can stay connected and make calls or use data as needed.

It's also a good idea to be open to new experiences and try new things while you're abroad. This could be trying local foods, participating in cultural activities, or simply chatting with locals and learning about their way of life.

Finally, make sure you have a plan in place in case of emergencies. This might include having the contact information for your embassy or consulate, as well as a plan for what to do if you get lost or have a medical emergency.

Overall, traveling to a foreign country for the first time can be a thrilling and enriching experience. By doing your research and being prepared, you can help ensure that your trip goes smoothly and that you have a wonderful time exploring a new place.

Before we meet next time, take care & stay safe.
